PERMANENT MISSION OF BHUTAN TO THE UNITED NATIONS IN NEW YORK CELEBRATES NATIONAL DAY IN NEW YORK
The Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Bhutan to the United Nations in New York was honored to host a reception on the evening of 17 December 2013 to celebrate Bhutan’s 106th National Day.
Representatives of the Permanent Missions, including Ambassadors and senior diplomats, senior officials from the UN Secretariat, friends of Bhutan in the US, and Bhutanese nationals living in New York came to celebrate the special occasion.
Regarded as one of the more popular receptions because of the great food and drinks and friendly ambience, and despite the inclement weather, the reception was well attended.
