Ambassador Kinga Singye, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bhutan to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva, presented his letters of credence to Mr. Kanayo Nwanze, President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) on Tuesday, 29 November 2016, and to Dr. Jose Graziano da Silva, Director General of FAO, on Wednesday, 30 November 2016 in Rome, Italy. He also met with Mr. Ramiro Lopes da Silva, Assistant Executive Director, Operations Services of WFP. Ambassador Kinga Singye will be presenting his credentials to the Executive Director of WFP on 10 January 2017.

Ambassador Singye reviewed Bhutan’s ongoing cooperation with the three agencies and discussed future collaborations, particularly in relation to the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
