The German – Bhutan Himalaya Society hosted the annual meeting of Bhutan Day 2017 with a theme “Bhutanese Youth in Pursuit of Happiness” in Frankfurt, Germany on 25th March 2017.
The officials of the Royal Bhutanese Embassy in Brussels, Bhutanese community in Europe and the Honorary Consul of Bhutan in Germany Dr. Wolfgang Pfeiffer and over 60 members of the German-Bhutan Himalaya Society attended the event. On behalf of the Ambassador, First Secretary Mr. Jigme Tenzin delivered the keynote speech on the theme “Bhutanese Youth in Pursuit of Happiness”.
The Society was officially launched on 11th May 1986 and Mr. Reinhard Wolf is the current President of the German Bhutan Himalayan Society.
