Hon’ble Lyonchhen Dasho Tshering Tobgay will be leaving for Brussels, Belgium and Switzerland on 05th March 2018, on official visits.
While in Brussels, Hon’ble Lyonchhen will call on the President of the European Council Donald Tusk, Mr. Jean-Claude-Juncker, President of the European Commission and other senior officials of the EU.
In Switzerland, Hon’ble Lyonchhen will meet the President of the Swiss Confederation Mr. Alain Berset and other senior officials of the Swiss Government.
The visits will provide an opportunity to convey the Royal Government of Bhutan’s appreciation to the EU and Switzerland for their support to Bhutan’s Socio-economic development. In addition, the visits will further strengthen Bhutan’s close ties of friendship and cooperation with the EU and Switzerland and also explore future areas of cooperation.
