We regret to inform all that the Interview for the Post of Asst. Protocol Officers is deferred to 23rd August 2011. It will be conducted at 2:30 PM in the Ministry’s Conference Hall. Similarly, the interview for the post of Messenger and Drivers is changed to 24th August 2011 at 2:00 PM instead of 23rd August 2011. All are requested to come with original documents to the Ministry.
Inconvenience caused is highly regretted.

Notification on the increase of Passport Validity
The Lhengye Zhungtshog (Cabinet), Royal Government of Bhutan, at its 103rd session has approved the extension of validity of ordinary passport from 5 to 10 years. Accordingly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Department of Protocol) will implement this change in validity of ordinary passport with effect from July 1, 2011.
Further, all passport holders, as per ICAO rules are to note that, the validity of passport of a minimum of six months is required for travel purposes. If the validity is less than six months, the concerned individual must process for a new passport as the current machine readable passports introduced since 2005 cannot be renewed.

Guideline for Students Seeking Admission in Colleges under Delhi University
1. All foreign nationals/citizens applying for admission to University of Delhi are required to apply through the Foreign Student’s Registry (FSR) office only. This is applicable even if the concerned foreign student has given the qualifying examination from an Indian Board/University.
