The WHA is the highest decision making body of the World Health Organisation (WHO). It meets annually and determines the policies of the organisation, supervises financial policies and reviews and approves the proposed programme budget.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">During the Assembly, Bhutan will assume the Chairmanship of the WHO Executive Board for a one-year term and will serve as a member of the Board for three years. In this capacity, Lyonpo will chair the 159th Session of the Executive Board from 25 to 26 May 2026. The Executive Board comprises 34 members elected for three-year terms.
