Royal Bhutanese Consulate, Kolkata Just another WordPress site
The officials and staff of the Royal Bhutanese Consulate General and the Bhutanese diaspora in Kolkata join the nation in offering our humble prayers on the special occasion of the 42nd birth anniversary of His Majesty the beloved Druk Gyalpo Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.
To mark the 42nd birth anniversary of His Majesty the Druk Gyalpo, the officials of the Royal Bhutanese Consulate General led by the Consul General visited the Dakshineswar Kali (Penden Lhamo) Temple, locally known as Maa Bhabatarini, in the morning to offer nyendar for His Majesty’s long life. The officials celebrated the day in the Chancery with offering of Zhabten and a simple lunch.
The officials of the Liaison & Transit office, Druk Air official and the students in Kolkata also joined the Consulate in the celebration.
A friendly khuru match was also organized after lunch between the LTO and RBCG officials.
