Notification

In keeping with ECB Notification No. ECB.NOTIF-01/2018/365 dated 18^th August 2018 concerning the Election Schedule, the Consulate General of Bhutan advises Bhutanese nationals resident in the United States of the following:

1. In accordance with the Electoral Roll and Postal Voter’s List (http://pb.ecb.bt/index.php) Postal Ballot papers addressed to those registered voters residing outside of New York State will be immediately despatched to addressees by priority post;

2. Marked postal ballots should be posted directly to the Election Commission of Bhutan, Thimphu, preferably through priority mail. Marked postal ballots must reach ECB Thimphu positively by Friday 14^th September 2018.

3. Registered postal voters residing within New York State are invited to appear at the Postal Ballot Facilitation Unit at the Consulate General in person with their original Voter ID Cards, original Citizenship ID Cards, or original passports.

4. The Postal Ballot Facilitation Unit will operate at the Consulate General from 4-6^th September 2018:
