The Royal Bhutanese Consulate General in Guwahati caters to providing consular support and services to Bhutanese nationals residing in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland and other Northeastern states, except Sikkim as it is covered by RBCG, Kolkata.
In the absence of a Health Attache in the Consulate, RBCG provides necessary assistance to Bhutanese patients referred to hospitals in Guwahati in coordination with Liaison Officer-Health based in Samdrup Jongkhar.
