Press Release: BHUTAN AT THE 68th SESSION OF THE UNGA

Hon’ble Minister for Foreign Affairs, Lyonpo Rinzin Dorje, is leading Bhutan’s delegation to the 68th Regular Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The 68th session of the UNGA, will serve as a prelude to the start of intergovernmental negotiations on the Post 2015 Development Agenda, including the next set of global development goals. ln the past year, the global agenda on the has been dominated by discussions framework for international development priorities after 2015. This new development framework will succeed the MDGs which conclude in December 2015. Firmly grounded on sustainable development, the Post 2015 Development Agenda will set the parameters and goals for development cooperation and partnerships for the next 15 years.Read More
