Attestation of documents

 APPLICATION PROCESS

Applicant shall:

  • apply for attestation of document with a duly-filled in Declaration Form. You can download the form here.
  • submit two copies of the document to be attested, of which one shall be retained by Mission and Consular Services Division (MCSD), Department of Protocol.
  • produce original document for verification at the time of attestation.

DOCUMENTS

  1. Ministry shall attest document issued by:
  • agency of the Royal Government of Bhutan;
  • non-government agency;
  • external institution; and
  • individual.
  1. The document issued by a non-government agency, external institution or individual shall, however, be attested only upon notarization from the Public Notary Office.
  2. MCSD shall not attest original and/or laminated documents.
