The Ambassador of Turkey to Bhutan based in New Delhi, H.E. Mr. Sakir Ozkan Torunlar called on Hon’ble Foreign Minister, Dr. Tandi Dorji. Ambassador is on a 4-days visit to Bhutan to attend the 14th Round Table Meeting from 12-14 March 2019. The Ambassador also called on Hon’ble Lyonchhen (Dr.) Lotay Tshering, and Hon’ble Speaker of the National Assembly, Tshogpon Wangchuk Namgyel. He will also call on the Minister for Economic Affairs and meet other RGoB officials. Bhutan and Turkey established diplomatic relations in September 2012. Recent collaborations between the two sides are in the areas of Capacity Building.
