The Ambassador of India to Bhutan, Mr. V.P. Haran, today handed over a cheque amounting to Rs. 1.5 billion to the Finance Minister, Lyonpo Namgay Dorji, for the Economic Stimulus Plan (ESP), in the presence of Hon’ble Prime Minister, Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay. The Government of India has committed Rs. 5 billion for the ESP and the first release of Rs. 1 billion was made on 29th October 2013.
