The Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to inform the general public that the French Embassy in New Delhi has notified the Ministry about change in consular jurisdiction. Hereafter, the French Consulate in Kolkata will handle all the consular matters pertaining to Bhutan including processing of French visas. Therefore, the Ministry would like to request all the Bhutanese citizens holding ordinary passports to process the French visa through the French Consulate in Kolkata.
