Bhutan observed the 71st anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations on 24 October, 2016 with the lighting of 1000 butter lamps in the Kuenray, Tashichhodzong. Lyonpo Ngeema Sangay Tshempo, Minister of Labour and Human Resources graced the occasion, which was attended by senior Government and the UN officials.
