MFA LECTURE SERIES
The Ministry conducted the first session of its Lecture Series on Thursday, 26th September 2019. The lecture series is intended to serve as a platform for distinguished speakers to share their expertise, experiences and insights with the foreign service officers. This is also a part of the Ministry’s efforts to develop officers’ knowledge and skills in both theory and practical aspects of diplomacy.
The Ministry was honored to have Lyonpo Dago Tshering and Lyonpo Om Pradhan as its first speakers for this programme. Lyonpo Dago spoke on Bhutan’s foreign policy, especially touching on Bhutan-India relations and Lyonpo Om on ‘Multilateral Diplomacy’. The event was well attended by MFA officials.
The lecture series which will take place once a month will feature prominent speakers in their area of expertise.
