BHUTAN ACCEDES TO REVISED KYOTO CONVENTION AND HARMONIZED SYSTEM CONVENTION

photoBhutan’s instruments of accession to the International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonization   of   Customs   Procedures   (Revised   Kyoto   Convention) was on   Monday 15th September  2014 deposited at the World Customs Organisation (WCO) headquarters  in Brussels, Belgium by the Bhutanese Ambassador Mr. SonamTshong.  He thanked  the  WCO for its generous support  to the development of the customs sector in Bhutan and said that the  Royal Government valued  its cooperative  relation  with  the  WCO. Mr. KunioMikuriya Secretary General expressing his appreciation  said that deposition  of the Instrument was a clear affirmation of the commitment of Bhutan to the international customs regime.Read More
