Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Bhutan to the United Nations in New York Celebrates the 108th National Day of the Kingdom of Bhutan
The Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Bhutan to the United Nations in New York hosted a reception on Friday, 18th December at the International Institute of Education, in New York to commemorate the 108th National Day of Bhutan.
The reception was well attended by about 300 guests, comprising of Permanent Representatives/Ambassadors and diplomats of several Missions to the United Nations, Heads and Officials of the United Nation system in New York, friends and well-wishers of Bhutan in the US, Office bearers of the Association of Bhutanese in New York and Bhutanese working at the United Nations.
Following the reception, the Officials, staff and the families of the Bhutan Mission and members of the Bhutanese community got together at the Bhutan Mission and continued the celebrations by participating in traditional Bhutanese dances and songs.
